Example: An example of habitat is a cactus living in a hot environment with the sun blazing down. This is the kind of area or habitat they live in. Frogs live in a wet habitat, fish live in an aquatic environment, birds love in fly in the air. Each one has a different habitat, or preferred kind of environment to live in.
