BSL Biology Glossary - variation - example

Example: There is variation within people as a species: we have different hair colour, different eye colour, different shaped noses, different shaped ears. There is variation within monkeys as a species: some have large chests, some are thin, they behave differently. There is variation within dogs as a species: some have pointy ears, some have tails that go up. Variation means all these differences within a species.
