BSL Glossary - Crowded Cottage

Look - example

A man broke his arm and it was very painful. He went to the emergency department at the hospital. Once he had given his details, he was asked to take a seat and wait and someone would be along to see him soon. He sat down in agony to wait. Other people came in. Then he realised that the people who came in after him were being seen first. He had been waiting for ages and was starting to get annoyed. He marched up to the woman in reception and said, "Look, Iíve been waiting for ages!" The woman calmed him down and told him that the people before him had more serious complaints in comparison to his arm. He grumpily took a seat again. He was really annoyed.
