BSL Geography Glossary - Sedimentary Rock - definition

Definition: Sedimentary rocks are often created by eroding other rocks through water, ice or wind erosion processes. The erosion creates small grains of rock which are deposited, often in layers. These grains and layers become sedimentary rocks.
