SSC Bulletin: Christmas 2017
Sharing information with everyone who is involved in the education of deaf children, deafblind children and visually impaired children and young people, the young people themselves and their families.
SSC will close from 4.30pm on Wednesday, 20th December 2017 and will re-open on Wednesday, 3rd January 2018.
We wish all our friends and colleagues a happy Christmas holiday.
SSC is a national centre funded by the Scottish Government (Learning Directorate, Support and Wellbeing) based at the University of Edinburgh.

SSC Unified English Braille Competency Courses
Applications are being accepted up to, and including, January 2018 for completion by end of March. Intake for 2018-19 begins on 1st April, 2018
Contracted Braille applications are being accepted for 1st April 2018. NB: no increase in course fees for 2018-19. The duration of this distance learning course is 18 months and the course runs continuously throughout this period - holidays are not factored into the timetable. Twenty places in total available with 18 remaining at time of issue. Further information, application form and fees can be found at:
