Plate - example

I went into the kitchen where two plates were lying. My mum was making the dinner and she served up the two helpings - one for her and one for me. I was starving. I thanked her, picked my plate up and walked into the hall. At that point, I slipped on the rug and my dinner went flying all over the wall. I couldn't believe it. As I turned, my mum came out, because she could sense that something had happened. Unfortunately, the wallpaper was white and the food, which was red-coloured, just stuck to it. Mum cleaned and scrubbed the wall and it didn't look too bad, but in the end we had to strip the wall and get new paper.
