About SSC Courses

The CPD courses we run take place for the most part at the Scottish Sensory Centre and other locations in Edinburgh. However, courses can be delivered in schools or education centres anywhere in the country, if requested, subject to availability of staff. Do not hesitate to contact the Scottish Sensory Centre if you have specific queries.

We are grateful for suggestions received and try to incorporate as many topics as possible. If we are unable to cover a requested topic in the current year, we retain suggestions for future programmes.

At the end of each event, when course evaluations are being handed in, participants are provided with a Certificate of Attendance identifying which quality indicators of the Chartered Teacher Standards have been addressed, which participants should find useful for their staff development log.
