How will you use what you have learned in this course?

I work with children using braille.
To support a visually impaired student.
Hopefully, I will be able to assist my VI teachers when helping children learn braille.
To assist in the production of resources for students with a visual impairment.
To support pupils using/learning braille in my post as a vision support teacher.

What was best about the course?

The stages were spaced out and very understandable.
It was laid out in good, easy to learn stages.
The course was very well laid out.
Availability of quality tutor feedback within a short time frame. Ability to work at own pace, at time/place to suit me. Clear structure and progression of course materials.

What, if anything, could have been improved?

Nothing.
There were a few errors, which made it tricky to understand at points in the coursework. Also, in my final assessment there were symbols not covered in the course - notably colon, semi-colon and dash. (2)
Few minor errors in course materials.

Any other comments regarding the course?

There were a few mistakes brailled on some sections, but the tutor was great at getting back to me with the queries I sent her over email.
Thank you to the tutor for timely supportive, positive and constructive feedback.

This course was delivered through distance learning - did you find this a good arrangement or would you have preferred a different mode of delivery? Please comment either way.

No, it was a good way of learning braille and seemed to go very quick.
It was a good arrangement - very fast response to emails by the tutor.
No - ideal arrangement.
