This will change my approach to sentence construction and comprehension. Excellent ideas.
Yes, I will actively promote the Colourful Semantics approach as a whole class system, especially at P1-3 initially.
Yes, I will put it into practice with various age group children to aid comprehension and independent writing.
I will introduce the colour coding to the children I work with - starting with silly sentences. Could also be helpful with reading comprehension.

What was best about the course/event?

Speaking to others about how they use it.
Doing the practical sentences.
Good delivery - engaging presenter.
The theory helped to explain the initial ideas. The detailed explanations of how to search for the basic concepts and simplify for all the children.
Practical ideas of how to use effectively.
All content and theoretical focus was especially relevant to me. It was great to revisit this and refresh my theory to practice motivation.
The teaching ideas and resources.
Lots of good ideas and practical advice.
It was practical - gave clear explanation about the use and development of coding.
Practical activities that we can easily produce and start to use with our pupils. Excellent presentation, though last part was a bit rushed.
Background info on how the approach works. Work tasks to practise understanding. Practical ideas to use/try with pupils.
Well explained, very practical course, great ideas.
Lots of information explanation. Now have a much clearer understanding about the theory behind colourful semantics. Enjoyed the videos and opportunities to practise coding.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

2 days instead of 1 - a lot of info to take in.
More practical sentences.
Colour handouts please.
As it was a visual/colour coded course, the slides were not clear. A colour resource or downloadable version would have been good.
The last part was rushed - maybe spend some time explaining, showing resources.
Colour PowerPoint.
A bit more time to consolidate what we have learned. I felt it was a little bit rushed and a lot to get my head around.
