What was best about the course/event?

A wealth of information on auditory development and children's capabilities that I didn't know.
Video clips to illustrate strategies.
Lots of interesting videos demonstrating many principles, which my own profession would use routinely.
Talking with speech and language therapy colleagues.
Reinforcement of babies developmental levels and activity suggestion.
Specific details of 1:1 sessions and videos.
Informative, it's a subject area I know nothing about, as I don't work with anyone with hearing impairments.
New ideas and practical to use.
Videos, activity ideas. What to expect at different stages.
Practical activities.
Opportunity to look at language development in babies.
Clips and practical application.
A wide range of examples, videos, interesting facts.
Having a greater understanding of the developmental stages of babies.
Well presented.
Useful, practical advice/examples.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

Less criticism of other professionals - audiology/speech therapy - disappointing comparisons which don't reflect current practice (others vs AVT).
It concerned me that the approach was held up as the 'ideal' to the detriment of other professions. This is quite a dated view and doesn't give a positive weight to multi agency working.
More practical activities.
A bit more discussion.
Could be over two days.
