How will you use what you have learned today?
Very helpful - ideas to take back to team - leaflet about professionals who'll be involved.
Good to realise that don't always need to be involved if parents don't need it.
Consider in more depth how true partnership with parents can be developed.
The importance of evaluating progress with parents.
Excellent idea to produce an information leaflet about the role of all the professionals that parents might encounter.
More involvement with parents and being more sensitive to their needs.
Consider how parents could become more involved in service.
Need to put greater emphasis on communication with families and benefit of parent to parent groups to meet.
Don't think I learned anything new today.
Gwen should have been more aware of the differences in Scotland and have geared her presentation accordingly.
Discuss content with colleagues to encourage implementation of good practice.
Discuss and report back to our Service.
Think of having a monthly parents' group Support Groups.

More discussions to raise awareness of other authorities practices.
Break in morning session.
More time to 'network' but well aware of time restraints.
Should have the views of the children, what they like and what they don't like and what they would like to be improved.

A very interesting and valuable course.
Useful - raising awareness of parent liaison.
This is such an important area - more days like this, please!

Mental Health issues relating to Deaf children and young people.
Exam provisions/allowances for oral deaf pupils.
BME awareness.
Counselling (missed this year's course but heard it was very valuable).
More about working in partnership with parents.
