How will you use what you have learned today?

To support pupils learning with improved knowledge of signs and methods of delivery in BSL.
Great discussions back at school to disseminate information and hopefully organise future inservice for staff, pupils, maybe community. Who knows?
Discuss use of BSL glossary with S1 hearing impaired pupil who I feel would benefit from use of this in science classes, and to explain concepts. Also discuss areas of concern with science teacher.

What was best about the course/event?

The pace and enjoyment of delivery. Clear, motivating and inspiring.
The whole course was excellent. One of the best.
Demonstration of good practice in the lab. Proved that science is accessible for all pupils and fun! Lots of helpful information about including deaf learners.
Realising science can be exciting and fun.
Finding out more about how the glossary was put together.
