Enhancement to your expertise

Content and supplementary material

Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

I will remember to be curious and non-judgemental.
Will impact on my supervision practice and co-constructing meaning in VIG work.
Mindful of creating emotional space for clients to reflect during shared reviews.
Give space!
Work on giving space to clients and not talking too much.
Trying to do video interactions with pupils and possibly families.
Listen and allow space ... I hope!!
Yes! Resist pressure to adopt expert role, will continue to be curious and see the value of short turns and space!
Absolutely, it has turned everything on its head for me. I want to look at how we involve parents in the target setting. I want to change how we approach our review meetings with parents.
Reflect on my own practice in terms of being less judgemental and being less directive. Taking a more intuitive approach.

Video content and analysis. Presenter's very clear and succinct explanations.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

Printed slides.
Would have liked a 'notes copy' of the slides in PowerPoint so I could focus on questions and discussion more.
Well, it was pretty perfect, but I am a complete novice regarding VIG, so perhaps a little more about the basics.
