This webinar provided guidance for teachers about assessing candidates with disabilities (including those who are deaf or have a visual impairment) who are studying Physical Education National Qualifications.

We explored how learning in the Broad General Education in PE can be used to inform course design and assessment opportunities.

Information was shared about the choices of activities available for assessment and possible adaptations to the context for assessment to support learners.

Application of the marking instructions at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels was also be covered.

Target Audience

Teachers of children and young people with visual impairment, Teachers of deaf children and young people, Teachers of PE in mainstream secondary school and special schools delivering National Qualifications.
