Pacing of course/event

What was best about the course/event?

I enjoyed hearing about the case studies. Thank you for supplementary materials - will be useful & interesting to read.
It was good to have the opportunity to liaise with other VI professionals. Some good tips given.
Lots of very practical advice from all the presenters.
Very relevant.
The course has made me think in a different way about the approach I need when working with children, and has given me some good ideas on this.
Using blind masks. Activities.
Having an opportunity to discuss in groups and try the items/ideas.
Learning about the case studies.
Lots of hands on resources and the blindfolded parts were a good intro.
Initial activity - sighted guide over obstacles - left alone on table.
Hands on experience. Case studies.
So useful, applied as well as theoretical.
Informative, useful course.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

It was a bit rushed at points and I would have liked more examples of activities to do with young children.
Nothing - covered everything.
Microphone for floor speakers, as I could not hear people's responses.
Less theory and reading of slides. The wealth of practical experience would have been useful.
Very good.
More time - great trainers, so could have listened to much more!
More info about pre-cane skills.
