Video Analysis Workshop (with pupils with multiple disabilities and visual impairment)
Presented on 31 January 2008
Content
This workshop looked at video analysis as a means of observation and assessment when working with pupils with multiple disabilities and visual impairment. It took the form of an interactive workshop. Participants were expected to bring videos of their own work, in the areas of communication or play, with multi disabled students. The group closely analysed the videos and made comments and suggestions within a framework of positive and supportive discussion. Participants learned about video as an assessment tool as well as gaining valuable insights into their own work.
