How will you use what you have learned today?
Adapt lots because our school is for children with hearing difficulties.
During visual-awareness sessions in mainstream schools to help them include and support VI children.
Will use new ideas in sessions tomorrow!
Help me adapt lessons to suit a VI child in my class - making me think about our outdoor area.
Implement some of ideas within the school.
More outdoors learning; loved the examples of sticks, picking up material and using that in language.
I will share ideas with families/educationalists and children I work with.
To encourage colleagues to get outside more and use the environment we have.
I have lots of ideas now to take forward in my school working group 'outdoor learning'. I have made new contacts so I will be able to obtain further ideas in the future and share my experience with (them).

What was best about the course/event?
The practical sessions outside (5) which were fun.
Some new ideas and contact with people who have a similar outlook.
Really liked the activities outdoor, very simple but very effective and can be adapted for my own school and grounds.
Outdoor practical activities and academic presentation and quotes.
The outdoor activities - I am a hands-on teacher and like to get new ideas for this approach.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
Too much theory - we all need activities for the children. All know the positives and benefits of play and so didn't need quite the depth of lecture on its benefits.
Weather!
More time (2) to fully discuss the risk assessment.

Any other comments regarding the course?
Brilliant, shame it's not near the botanical gardens!
A fantastic event that I wish could be shared with other professionals/families etc.
Excellent (2) course, highly recommended.
