Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

Yes, I will use a lot of the ideas and strategies from today to help support the children I work with in their social development.
Begin my new job on Monday - will take all I have learned today into my new post.
Not anything different, but will make some more of the speaker's resources.
Use lots of ideas presented over time to progress learning and development.
Yes. Looking forward to trying new ideas out. Positive Looking with the black as I'm working with a baby.
Incorporate some of the resources into everyday practice.
So many ideas to take forward and develop with my parents!
Try to complete more early years home visits.
Yes, spend more time thinking about play/fantasy. Think more deeply about my interaction with babies, young people, families & staff. Involve pupils where possible in their planning/targets/achievements.
Look at developing better materials for use in development of social skills.
Put into practice the Positive Looking Red Hen story!
Use what I have learned today to support a baby with VI, who I will work with from August, as well as other children on my caseload.

What was best about the course/event?

I loved seeing all of the resources. It's given me lots of enthusiasm to try them out myself.
Morning session was particularly useful for me. As new to working with families with VI children gave me a great introduction and is a good springboard for my own learning.
Very practical ideas. Extremely relevant to working with the babies & families on my caseload.
Ideas/information on research and knowledge.
