Understanding the diagnosis: Childhood visually impairing conditions

This one day course offered an introduction to childhood visually impairing conditions. A description of the common causes of childhood visual impairment was aided by clinical pictures and reference to real life cases. The process of diagnosis, means of management and natural history of the varied conditions was discussed. The course is designed for parents and health/ education professionals working with children with visual impairment.
