How will you use what you have learned today?

Applying the skills from day one!
Towards assessment in next Post Graduate module. In every day work.
I will work better with the children. It refreshed my memory, I will be more consistent in my approach.
I will be able to understand better the pupils apprehension of going into different classrooms.
Be able to converse more knowledgably with a VI Teacher when he/she visits a pupil in school until I undertake the Post Graduate Diploma myself. Impart and implement some of this myself in my place of work.
I hope to put the skills into practise at my place of work with confidence.

Clarity of presentation

What was best about the course/event?

Presentation, practical side of it.
Enthusiasm of mobility staff in very appropriate setting. Excellent teaching standard.
The excellent practical content and demonstrations.
Learning how to lead a blind person up and down the stairs safely.
Practical demonstrations and active participation. Other professionals sharing problems, questions and good practice.
All of the course was very interesting.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

Pre-course information - bus numbers to get to Royal Blind School!
A little bit more time to try the skills myself.

Any other comments regarding the course?

Perhaps held nearer assessment module in March.
Thank you for an excellent course.
The course was very useful and I would recommend it for any person working with VI children.

Break ‘mobility’ training into smaller stages for newcomers like me.
