Independent Living Skills The development of independence skills does not always come easily for
some visually impaired children and young people. These children need
encouragement and careful guidance from an adult who has a clear idea
of the steps involved to complete tasks and knowledge of strategies,
which will help a child to achieve them as independently as possible. Presenters: The Mobility Team, Royal Blind School (Sharon McAllister
and Angie Bisson) Programme
