How will you use what you have learned today?

To support nursery staff. To develop skills with parents. To share with colleagues.
Develop resources/ideas for own service.
Resources will be invaluable when working with children on pre-braille skills.
Will use ideas in support of braille user. Will use easy/easier to inform target setting.
I will make a few games and posting box for pupil's voice. I will use the grids for target setting and recording progress (that's the key learning for me!).
Excellent practical ideas and record sheets, etc. I will use much of what was provided.
I have loads of ideas how to make some pre-braille resources.
I will adapt many of the ideas for use with my student(s) and use many of the wonderful ideas with staff, particularly when considering roles and responsibilities.
I will use all of the handouts modelled today. I will use many of the resources suggested.
I will use what I have learned to enhance my daily practice (2), teaching braille. Thank you, lots of information.
With a 2 year old who is a potential braille user.
I have a totally blind 3 year old and a 7 year old whose vision had deteriorated who will both use braille. So, this course has been invaluable. Will share info gained with other adults/parents.

What was best about the course/event?

The practical ideas for fun activities, the focus on pre-braille and readiness for reading was really helpful.
The speaker! So enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Enthusiasm of presenter, excellent course materials, these will always be there to refer to.
Excellent resources and sharing of knowledge!
A wide variety of ideas to use in mainstream class. Very detailed grids with skills/abilities that a child needs to acquire prior to learning braille. Also, the CD!
Practical ideas and info provided.
Lots of fantastic pre-braille ideas and how to contextualise things.
Everything was excellent. The presenter is an inspirational and motivational speaker. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas and advice given, particularly with my reluctant braille student. Many thanks.

More time! (3)
Perhaps carousel like activity for exploring different resources.
More time to look through resources!
No improvements required apart from more time from presenter.
Three days would have been even better (2). Could it start at 9:30? Lovely to network, but an extra half hour of the presenter would have been super.
More time to discuss issues related to pupil.
