Normal Vision 1: Central Focus

The video demonstrates how much of our acute vision is concentrated at the centre of our focus. The video flips between two screens: in one the picture is clear well coloured and well focused to the edges of the screen, whilst in the other the centre of the picture is in focus whilst progressively towards the edges the picture becomes less precise less well coloured and more impressionistic. This more properly represents the way we perceive the world, although since our focus is continuously changing, it may appear that we have a broader acute visual perception than is actually the case.
