How will you use what you have learned today?
Make a selection from materials to give to parents and for use in in-service
sessions.
Will dip into materials if I have a very young child on my caseload. Journal
looks excellent.
Provide materials for parents/carers of 0-3 VI children on home visits. Share
material with nurseries providing for VI children.
With parents and staff to support young children.
With colleagues + parents: as suggested activities.
Will use the document to support my planning and pass information to parents
who are keen to support their child.
At present I am at the beginning of working with older VI children. Found the
content interesting, giving a structure and confidence for future work.
Being able to refer to Journal to support visits. Also add to my knowledge of
VI early development.
I have older pupils, however it was very interesting
