I will think about new ideas - lots of food for thought.
Will try an interactive floor keyboard with one child/peers to encourage interaction.
Will look into more bits of technology to help clients.
Look for apps that help visually impaired children explain to others about their needs due to VI.

What was best about the course/event?
Expert presenter.
New ideas.
Excellent knowledge and focus on current research.
Information on sock technology.
Greater awareness of the impact of sensors on conditional learning.
This course has made me think about something I've never given any consideration to! I will give this some thought! PowerPoint was great.
The course has given good ideas and has helped me think about the use of ICT more effectively.
I enjoyed the section about the intelligent sock.
Interesting to see what research is being done.
The presenter's informative and enthusiastic delivery.
What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
Some activities; proper coffee.
See apps to try them.
To try out the different games/apps.
It's a fascinating study - the results will be very interesting of how useful they are. Shame they aren't available in English.
Too much time was spent on the first part of the course. The second part clarified things better.
The course is focused almost exclusively on people with intellectual disabilities - very little for me in VI.
I was disappointed because I thought it would be more relevant to my job/children I support. Could do with apps in English and those requiring less visual demands (the videos seemed very visually dependant). I wanted more practical things I could go away with.
It wasn't what I thought this course would be about. I thought it would be more about the mainstream apps that children with VI are using at the moment on a daily basis. Too much talking, no discussion.
Learning about apps available in English.
