How will you use what you have learned today?
Today has reminded me that I need to use my knowledge of Braille by practising it more often (I don't use it regularly enough).
We don't have anyone who is a Braille user within our Authority at the moment but it is always good to keep practising when you don't use it every day.
I am working with a student who is using Grade 2 Braille so this has been very useful.
UEB help invaluable.

What was best about the course/event?
Being with other people to discuss Braille and introduction of Unified English Braille (UEB). Really appreciated Alison Duthie's understanding of my "wooliness".
Being able to practise reading.
It's made me think about Grade 2 and what I need to do.
'Practical'.
Relaxed presentation.
What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
A bit longer.
It was very good - useful - hands-on - practical!
