Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?
Yes. Will begin to work in this way with a couple of my complex needs pupils.
Lots of ideas to try out with class and individuals.
Experiment more.
In school look at incorporation of elements of music therapy in order to aid communication for children with severe and complex needs.
Investigate reading material. Implement some of the strategies covered during the afternoon session.
Try to use music even more in my classroom.
Have a go!
Absolutely - today will have a positive effect on the fun and playful experience of music in my classroom. It will enhance communication possibilities.
Assess the child's needs and abilities. Introduce 1 + 2 instruments. Noises and sounds music to mimic.
Start using more music therapy purpose.

Really enjoyed playing the music and exercises. Information really useful. Good advice from others around me. Ideas to explore music, sound, pace and beat.

Excellent course, lots of valuable information and techniques to take back and incorporate in my working practice. How wonderful music is and accessible to everyone. Lots of fun!
What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
Fan made difficult to hear some of the media.

More information/ideas about how to use music effectively with multiple disabilities and visual impairment (MDVI) pupils (especially those with cerebral palsy and inability to move any limbs).
The morning could be slightly more active.
