Approach activities/tasks differently and think about step by step process.
I will think more about task analysis, communication, body language, empathy of VI.
Task analysis! For ILS within educational setting.
Consider how to break skills into smaller, achievable steps using Task Analysis approach.

Practical activities.
Delivery of presentation.
Good to refresh on habilitation/ ILS, and add to it. Lecturer very good, interesting and informative, Thanks.
Clear and relevant info presented.
Discussion with other agency reps and Jessica Hayton regarding practices.
Presenter was extremely knowledgeable and engaging.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
More practical activities in relation to habilitation and independent living skills.
A copy of slides is always useful, then can add notes easier. More examples of ILS tasks would be good too, but we had a good discussion etc.
More practical tips on supporting a blind pupil in primary school with ILS, eg dressing/ changing, mobility, lunch.
Case studies for early years primarily, secondary for ILS as discussion points.
More practical tips and advice - was a lot of sitting and listening and afternoon session was rather general - would have preferred some practical examples or activities.
