Very often those of us who work in sign language tend to expect other people to quickly grasp and understand the meaning of signs. Sometimes we think a sign is obvious and easy to understand. But we decided to test it, to see if it is really true. So in our panel, we asked the hearing team if they understand the meaning of signs produced by the deaf team. I think you will be interested to see how easy - or difficult - the hearing people found the signs. Let's have a look.
