Clark: Fifty two countries involved, fifty two. I'm sorry to say that China wasn't there. Maybe they were poor and dropped. But now, whereas before it was an open competition, now you have to reach the qualifier, qualifying time and then you'll be accepted, otherwise you wouldn't be accepted. So perhaps they weren't good enough but they're great at table tennis, the Chinese, they're great at table tennis. Why weren't they there? There were a lot of Japanese people, but no, no Chinese at all.
Watching the parade and as they were going past, the largest team, do you know who it was? It was the USA. They've got plenty of money and a very strong deaf team. There were over 200 athletes and other competitors. The second were Russia, they had a big team and who do you think (was) the third? Who was the home team? Who was the home team? It was the Germans and they had a big team. The British, I was proud of them and they were so smart in their uniforms. Did they give you a uniform before?
George: Me? no, no.
