Acoustics and Assistive Listening Devices Information Day

This information day provided the opportunity to hear up-to-date information on equipment and resources to support deaf pupils. The day included presentations from the following organisations and speakers.
- Richard Vaughan, Connevans (PDF): Richard demonstrated a new product called "Babble Guard" and the Aurical HIT hearing aid test box.
- Gareth Challis, Frontrow: Gareth demonstrated the Juno Classroom Soundfield System.
- Tim Simmons, The Woolly Shepherd - natural acoustic solutions (PPT): These products enhance classroom environments by reducing background noise and improving speech intelligibility.

- Tony Murphy, Phonak (PPT): Tony provided an update from Phonak and demonstrated the Roger Touchscreen.
