BSL Cyber Security Glossary - Asymmetric encryption definition

Definition: Asymmetric encryption involves each participant having a pair of keys – one public and one private – that are mathematically linked in such a way that messages encrypted with the recipient’s public key can only be decrypted with the corresponding private key.
