Definition: Let's say we have received a dataset of numbers. On the face of it, it doesn't make sense. What we can do is to manipulate, transform, aggregate and visualise the data. Then patterns and trends start to emerge. Such as similarities and differences. It is now making sense. So, with data analytics, it helps us to understand the data.
