Translation:
In the seaweed here you can see these small fish which are Common Blenny. The Common Blenny has a large blunt head with high-set, large eyes. Olive green to dark brown in colour, these fish blend in well with the surrounding seaweed which helps them hide them from predators. There are a number of different types of Blenny, but the Common Blenny, unlike many others, doesn't have tentacles on its head. These fish have a slime coating which enables them to retain moisture and, if stranded when the tide recedes, they can jump in search of safety amongst the rockpools.
