Hi there, I'm here in Falmouth Harbour. I’m going to talk about the European Sardine. European Sardines live at depths of around 150m. They have slim, elongated silver bodies with a pointed snout and spiny fins. European Sardines are an important food source for larger fish. They swim in densely packed schools in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic seas, where they are caught using large nets that scoop them up mid water.
