BSL Marine Species Glossary - Marlin - definition

Translation:

Marlin are a type of fish characterised by their long, pointed noses. They have streamlined, elongated bodies and a long dorsal fin, which helps them move swiftly through the water. They grow to about 2 metres in length. Blue and dark grey in colour, marlin are found in warmer waters - they use their speed to catch and eat smaller fish.
