BSL Marine Species Glossary - Mediterranean Moray - definition

Translation:

Mediterranean Moray have a long elongated, eel-like body which can measure over 1.5m in length. Its skin is slimy and unlike fish, it has no scales; it weighs up to 15kg. Colour varies from dark grey to dark brown with dark spots. Mediterranean Moray live and hide amongst the rocks, or holes and strike out, preying on passing fish.
