Definition
The nth root or term in a sequence is the name for any root. It is a general root and lets you find any root by applying a formula.
The formula: 2n = nth root
allows you to find any term in the sequence 2, 4, 6, 8 ... If I want the 10th term in the sequence, I apply the formula 2n For example 10th term = 2 x 10 = 20.
