Assisting VI children in schools.
I will use this course with my job – working with visually impaired children.

What was best about the course?

Clear sections to work through.
Linking letters together to form words.
Regular contact, information provided and email address to contact course tutor.
Good pace for introducing new signs.
I will use all my expertise to teach pre-braille and eventually braille to young learners.

What, if anything, could have been improved?

Perhaps some additional info on correct setting of margins, etc. Online chats with tutor.
Webcam option to speak to tutor.
I would have liked more practise papers.

This course was delivered through distance learning - did you find this a good arrangement or would you have preferred a different mode of delivery? Please comment either way.

Yes, it was good.
Visual webcam option to speak to tutor regarding any issues.
I would have liked a first session with a braillist to ask questions etc – as an option.
