What was best about the session?

Lots of practical tips specific to this area.
The Q&A at the end allowing for further discussion.
Lots of opportunities for asking questions at the end.
Exemplars were clearly described and researched.
I liked that strategies were given. Also examples using two students makes it more relateable.
Very informative, a lot of good ideas and solutions.
Anecdotal classroom experiences both positive and negative.
The sharing of lived experiences with the real-life cases, and practical guidance when managing different learner needs and requirements.
Listening to personal experiences working with pupils and strategies that were useful to support them.
Lots of useful suggestions for working with children with ASN/sensory.
I knew about some of the content but it's always good to hear of more resources.
Confirmed knowledge that I already have and made me feel more confident in how I support staff and young people.
I really appreciated the strategies clearly outlined on how to support learners.
Resources and examples.
It was really helpful being offered strategies that we could take away to try out in our settings. I also appreciated the links offered that allows us to follow up more at our own discretion.
Q and A at the end was beneficial.
The mixture of lived / earned experience and the theoretical, plus clear advice / techniques to try
Links to external resources.
I think for somebody with no previous knowledge it would have been a great introduction to the subject. I valued most the Q&A at the end, which was very well handled.
Tips given.
Some useful resources/links.
Found it all really interesting and thought provoking - really great thank you.
Well presented and prepared. Clear speaker/presenter. Q&A session was good.
Sharing information and experiences.
Learning about different strategies to use when supporting neurodivergent students in school and the Q&A section.

What, if anything, do you think should have been included?

All seemed relevant.
I think the webinar covered everything. Thank you.
Nothing else. A very informative session.
Nothing. (11)
Can't think of anything
Nothing springs to mind currently.
I would have liked some photographs of activities used in order to create a sensory circuit to help me to visualise how this might look in a classroom setting.
I think the webinar was really informative and appealed to a wide range of attendees. From my own perspective, having more information on juggling sensory needs in a mainstream setting would have been a real bonus!
Perhaps some examples and ideas for how to support when children unfortunately get overwhelmed and display behaviours that can result in hurting themselves or others.
Some info on creating profiles - recommended tools for example - and strategy/activity ideas for meeting specific sensory needs.
Content was at the right level and very relevant to current cohort!
It was great as it was.

What other CPD training would you like the SSC to provide?

The Functional Vision Assessment
Keep up the range of Webinars please.
Interested in the Talking Mats one that was mentioned.
I am open to considering any training that helps me deliver outreach support to staff and young people in mainstream settings.
Further training on sensory circuits.
This kind of thing is v interesting.
Always happy with the programme.
