How will you use what you have learned today?
May be useful if I have Primary/Early Secondary stage pupils and am targeting these areas.
As evidence to get laptop.
Check and see whether programmes available in school or whether they can be brought in.
I would use them in writing and project work. Will try to access Clozepro software in school.
Tell colleagues about software - Kar2ouche and Clozepro.
Developing my expertise further.
Preparing worksheet.
Explore Mind Genuis.
Dependent on access to computer facilities. Hopefully make use of the technology.
Lots about Communicate by Choice and Digital Blue.
In working with hearing impaired and visually impaired pupils.
Try more ideas on the computer.
Mind Genius is very useful for a number of teaching situations.
Mind Genius would be very useful for the department.
I would be very interested in Kar2ouche as it would, I hope, encourage/motivate reluctant writer.
Depends on whether software will be available. If available, lots of possibilities.

What was best about the course/event?
Seeing new programmes.
Pace was good, hands on.
Mind Genius programme was very useful and could be used with many children.
Thinking through ways of presenting a variety of material using ICT.
It was practical and hands on.
Updating skills. Getting together with colleagues.
Practical suggestions delivered by people who actually use them.
Hands-on experience.
The two items I attended - Mind Mapping and Digital Blue.
The opportunity to use the computers during each class.
Presentation.
Time to work with the software.
Able to use the programme and see for myself the scope and flexibility of the programme.
Hands on experience with new technology.

Working with Mind Genius - Flow diagram. Lunch too was good.
Computer suite, well set out, spacious, easy to see tutor.
Numbers in each room not too great.
Easy to speak to those delivering the course.
Time! I enjoyed the opportunity to practise the programmes in the workshops.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?
Use of Teacher of the Deaf to present. Kar2ouche not ToD friendly.
2 days.
Nothing.
More of the same, I would like the opportunity to attend other workshops.
Presentations by Teachers of the Deaf are preferable as they have a clear understanding of their audience's needs.
Computers working properly.

Enjoyed it. I hope I am able to use knowledge gained.

To be given the opportunity to use the materials possibly by being given a laptop.

VI - testing functional vision - practical.
VI - mobility training - practical.
Software for pre-5.
More Glasgow based training of any kind would be good.
More of the same.
Anything with technology and relevant to deaf children.
Technology for visually impaired children, eg; Supernova, cactus, etc.
Practical courses in literacy.
