Children who are deaf or visually impaired have a real opportunity to benefit from the Curriculum for Excellence in a number of ways  For example, the flexibility of the new curriculum will provide excellent opportunities for these children to develop a more personalised curriculum to meet their very specific needs. Representatives from LTS and HMIE will lead the proceedings with the aim of exploring ways in which children's needs can more effectively be met by Scotland's new curriculum.

Target Audience: Teachers, Parents and all those involved in the education of young people who have a sensory impairment.
