Translation: Collaborative filtering is a technique used in recommendation systems that suggests items based on patterns of similarity between users or between items. It works by analysing what groups of users have liked, chosen, or rated, and then recommending items that similar users have interacted with. For example, if two people have chosen many of the same films, and one of them watches a new film, collaborative filtering may recommend that film to the other person.
