BSL AI Glossary - Model Weights definition

Translation: Model weights represent the strength of the connection between two neurons. A neural network processes many features at once, and the weights determine how strongly or weakly each feature is used by the model. Features associated with a cat, such as whiskers or the shape of the mouth, nose, and ears, may develop stronger weights for the cat classification and much weaker weights for bird classification because a bird doesn't have whiskers or ears like a cat does. The model adjusts these weights during training.
