BSL Environmental Science Glossary - Climate Crisis definition

Description: The world is currently facing a number of threats that are climate related. In some parts of the world there has been extensive flooding that has forced people to evacuate and animals to flee; plants and trees have also been destroyed. In places like Australia, prolonged periods of intense heat have led to forest fires which have caused widespread destruction and again forced people and animals to leave their homes. Prolonged periods of rain have caused extensive flooding; further destruction has also been caused by tornados and tsunamis. This is the climate crisis.
