BSL Environmental Science Glossary - Climate Repair definition

Description: Climate repair is a strategy that aims, in a number of different ways, to reduce, or if possible, reverse the impact of the climate change crisis. We need to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas and CO₂ in the atmosphere by capturing carbon and restoring the damage caused to the ecosystem. Climate Repair is a broader term than 'geoengineering', which focuses on the use of technology to create interventions that enable us to manipulate the damage already done to the climate.
