BSL Environmental Science Glossary - Researchers definition

Description: The sign Researcher has two variations. A researcher is someone who does research. This means they investigate and try to solve a problem by gathering information. In environmental science a researcher will attempt to identify environmental issues. They use a scientific method to collect and extract data, which they then analyse to develop solutions to problems. Researchers then present the data and their findings. In environmental science and environmental health, researchers often have expertise in a number of disciplines like Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Geology and Environmental Science. They use these disciplines to tackle environmental problems.
