Yes. More aware of mental health services for hearing impaired people in Scotland. Therefore more able to work with hearing impaired people who may have mental health issues.

I've come away with a much greater awareness of the issues relating to adverse experiences specific to deaf people and their impact of mental health and well-being. Also awareness of services available and the challenges presented where general services fall short. Thanks for an informative and thought-provoking afternoon.

It was great to see the deaf and hearing members of the mental health team working so well together. To see that such a service exists.

I would have liked to have a better idea at the beginning of who everyone was. This was my first involvement with the SSC so I would have benefitted from a little more introductory information. Also, it would have been good to have a sense of the support that the case study examples would receive from the mental health team.
