Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

Pace of session - slow down. De-clutter classroom. Update my recording procedures.
Improve my interaction with the most complex pupils.
I will more confidently use intensive interaction in my class and record and (hopefully) track my pupils' progress.
This has been much more in-depth than previous in-school training and I feel more confident to develop the strategies especially when working with parents.
Observations and recording of Intensive Interaction (sharing format with staff).
I will engage in some Intensive Interaction chats with pupils in my class. I will also encourage staff I work with to use it.
I'd already read much of what was here and seen videos. I think I'll have more confidence in applying these methods. It's nice to hear that we need to try, without fearing failure. Observation/trial/learn etc ...
Yes, I will use the ideas to engage with certain pupils.
Consider the strategies when undertaking Intensive Interaction and make use of observation sheet.
The course has reinforced my confidence and understanding of Intensive Interaction and helped me to find the language to aid other staff in their understanding of its importance.
Definitely! I have learned so much about how Intensive Interaction works and how I can approach this with my pupils.
Yes, this will completely change the way I communicate with my profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) class.
Definitely, I will go to my young person's establishment with less of a plan. Create a context, observe, intrude, imitate, respond and adapt accordingly.
I will continue to implement Intensive Interaction.

What was best about the course/event?

All information was relevant and valuable to my place of work. It has developed my confidence in my teaching, helped me justify my work.
Giving me more confidence in my practice.
I enjoyed the use of the individual’s viewpoint in explaining the reasoning behind their sensory activity - thank you!
Very clear strategies - explained and discussed, and illustrations. Tracking information.
Observation. Professional Dialogue.
Giving me the confidence and the 'tools' to try Intensive Interaction.
Good to hear from so many like-minded people, to encourage each other. Even if I learned nothing new, this is necessary for rekindling enthusiasm.
An excellent course. Very good speakers who had good knowledge of the subject.
In-depth information provided. Confidence to try Intensive Interaction and justify to colleagues.
Delivery was excellent, interesting and engaging. Good to chat with colleagues from other settings. Lunch was lovely!
Information and idea sharing.
Learning how Intensive Interaction works! How I can use it in my classroom, talking and asking questions. Practical ideas, tracking and monitoring everything!
Everything (2), great course, really enjoyed it. Lunch was fantastic, lovely gluten free food.
Key strategies - the explanation and seeing them in action within a series of clips.
Discussion with other staff form other schools. Clear, practical information.

What, if anything, could have been improved about the course?

More content, please.
Nothing - thank you!
I don't feel anything could be improved, I found all content very helpful and appropriate.
It's a lot to cover in one day. It would be good to include access to other materials (lots given, but there is so much!) eg Joanna Grace and PMLD link, other Phoebe C books.
