Will you do anything differently as a result of today's training?

No.
Will do further research on mental health with deafness.
Try to get to the emotion that is behind the behaviour. Try and control myself and my behaviour more and look after myself.
Continue to develop good practice. Listen much more before offering to 'fix' things.
Yes, but it also reinforced my current practice.
Try to use emotional coaching techniques more often.
Be more mindful of language used and to be more able to use a problem-solving approach rather than 'fixing'.
Research emotion coaching and integrate more of this in my team.
Consider carefully the emotions pupils are experiencing and the factors causing them. And listen!
Greater knowledge of how I can best support pupils in my wellbeing role and also as a class teacher.
Be more aware of behaviours and tuning in to responses.
Yes, the course has made me more aware of my responses to children experiencing emotional difficulties.
Yes - I'll try!
Each child's behaviour has a reason. Will try and put myself even more in their shoes.
Stop trying to fix pupils’ problems but to enable them to work towards their own solution.
Emotional coaching - how to guide.
Being more aware about how I can support my pupils' mental health.
Definitely feel empowered.
Yes, consider how I react personally to situations.

How would you rate the following: Poor = 1; Excellent = 5

What other CPD training would you like the SSC to provide?

SQA Deaf Reviewers exam training. Mental health for deaf.
ACE's. Further mental health/emotional/nurture courses.
Anything that connects to young people and their lives. I deal with SEBD pupils so mental health, emotions, counselling etc. would be good.
I would like a day of showing VI equipment from various providers so you could compare and contrast them with other VI colleagues present.
Anything relating to mental health support/wellbeing. (2)
VI training, classroom strategies and resources. Mental health training for Support for Learning assistants who are at the front-line/in mainstream classes.
I'd really like to organise training for my school staff. Perhaps I have sufficient knowledge from this (and resources) to make a modest start.
Follow on would be good.
